It is hard to find a qualified tutor. Most advertised tutors are graduates who do not work in schools or understand the exam requirements.

Since September 2006, the GCSE Science specifications have changed dramatically.

Scienceboosters are expert teachers in their field and are completely up to date with these new syllabuses.

Why is it important to perform well in Science?

Science is a core subject in the National Curriculum. All students need to study science at school until the end of year 11 (GCSE level).

Most students take two GCSEs in Science and many do the Triple award gaining three Science GCSEs.

Sixth-form colleges and FE-Colleges set entry requirements for each course. The minimum requirement is usually 5A*-C grades. Science can make up 2 or 3 of these grades, allowing you access for the course of your choice.

If a student wishes to study Science at A-level the minimum requirement is usually a grade B. If this is not achieved, students are left disappointed as they can not longer follow their course of choice.
